State Bank of India Officers’ Association (Bengal Circle) Highlights SBI’s Role in Nation Building
Kolkata:-2026-The State Bank of India Office Association (Bengal Circle) has reiterated the historic role and continued contribution of the State Bank of India (SBI) in the economic development and nation-building process of India.
Since its inception, SBI has played a pivotal role in strengthening the country’s banking infrastructure and supporting socio-economic growth. From financing agriculture, small and medium enterprises, infrastructure projects, education and healthcare, the Bank has consistently stood by the people of India, especially during challenging times.
The Association noted that SBI officers have always worked with dedication and integrity, extending banking services to the remotest corners of the country and ensuring financial inclusion for all sections of society. Even during crises such as natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic, SBI employees remained at the forefront, providing uninterrupted banking services and support to citizens.
The State Bank of India Officers’ Association (Bengal Circle) emphasized that officers of the Bank are committed to protecting public sector banking, safeguarding the interests of customers, and upholding the values on which SBI was founded. The Association also reaffirmed its resolve to work for the welfare of its members while contributing positively to the nation’s economy.
On this occasion, the Association appealed to all stakeholders to recognize the invaluable contribution of public sector banks and their employees in building a strong, self-reliant and inclusive India.
