National Convention Against Cybercrime and on Human Rights to be Held in Kolkata
Kolkata, West Bengal – May 16, 2025 – The National Human Rights and Corruption Prevention Organisation (NHRCPO) is proud to announce the National Convention Against Cybercrime and on Human Rights, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Rotary Sadan Auditorium, 94/2 Chowringhee Road, Kolkata, West Bengal 700020, starting at 5:30 PM IST.
This landmark event aims to address the escalating challenges of cybercrime and its impact on human rights in the digital age. With India’s rapid digital transformation, the rise in cyber threats, including data breaches, online fraud, and digital exploitation, has underscored the urgent need for robust cybersecurity measures and human rights protections. The convention will bring together policymakers, cybersecurity experts, legal professionals, human rights advocates, and community leaders to foster dialogue, share insights, and develop actionable strategies to combat cybercrime while safeguarding fundamental rights.
