West Bengal Circle will be holding the State Level Philately Exhibition - Bongopex, 2025 after six years. The last State Level Philately Exhibition (Ekla Cholo Re) was held in 2019. This year the exhibition will be held from the 14th November to 17th November, 2025 at the Science City Convention Centre. A host of engaging activities and events will take place during the Exhibition. During the event, the Circle will showcase a wide ranging collection of stamps and other philatelic activities fostering the spirit of philately and philatelic items amidst the new and younger generations.

 On 14th November, 2025 the event will be ceremoniously inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, His Excellency Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose, as chief guest, in the presence of the Guest of Honors eminent Indian Actress and Choreographer Padma Shri awardee Smt. Mamata Shankar, Dr. Sumantro Bose, Director, Netaji Research Bureau, Shri Rajesh Bagri, Secretary General, PCI, Shri Madhukar Deogaonka, Acting President, PCI and other dignitaries.

         The inauguration ceremony will be held at the Auditorium, Science City and from 11:30 to 12:30 Hrs. The program for the day will consist of various events such as a total of 2 (Two) Special Cover Releases along with Cancellations (On “Netaji’s Durga Puja” & “Legendary Film Directors of Bengal – Debaki Kumar Basu, Mrinal Sen, Basu Chatterjee, 
Tarun Majumder and Buddhadeb Dasgupta”), Release of a Set of Eight (8) Picture Postcards on Sukumar Ray’s “Abol Tabol”, Musical Performance by the renowned duo Sourendra–Soumyojit, Essay Writing Competition (for students aged 10–18 years), Sit & Draw Competition for school students and Philatelic Workshop for student participants.
